REDEFINING FEMALE STEREOTYPES IN ADVERTISING

The portrayal of women in a highly sexualized way has long been a contentious issue in advertising. Often, women are shown in ways that reduce them to physical attributes, emphasizing attractiveness and sexuality over other qualities or achievements. This approach reinforces stereotypes and promotes unrealistic beauty standards, adding to societal pressures on women to fit narrow ideals. Through artistic depictions that exaggerate these stereotypical traits, we aim to spotlight this misrepresentation of women in advertising.
